HAGERSTOWN, Md. (August 29, 2017) – The Washington County Office of Agricultural Business Development, in conjunction with the Clear Spring High School Future Farmers of America and the Claud E. Kitchens Outdoor School at Fairview, are pleased to announce the 2017 Clear Spring Fall Festival on Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. at the Clear Spring Outdoor Agricultural and Environmental Center behind Plumb Grove located at 12654 Broadfording Road, Clear Spring, Maryland.
The festival will occur rain or shine and will play host to a wide variety of ag-related activities that occur at designated times listed below:
9 a.m. Cider Press – hourly demonstrations
10 a.m. & 2 p.m. Cross-Cut Saw Demo
10:30 a.m. & 2:30 p.m. Draft Horse Demo
11 a.m. & 1 p.m. Pedal Tractor Pull
11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Live Music
1:30 p.m. Turkey Calling Contest
Other events include apple butter making, cornhole, a car and tractor show, face painting and much more.
A food stand will be open for the duration of the festival and will feature a full menu. The event will have free admission as well as free parking.
