Farms Can Request Farm Equipment Signs on Maryland State Roads

HAGERSTOWN, Md. (September 07, 2017) – The Washington County Department of Business Development, Agriculture would like to encourage local farms to submit farm caution signage request to be placed on state roads where agricultural equipment is heavily traveled.

Farms may submit information to Emily Snyder of the Maryland Farm Bureau at esnyder@mdfarmbureau.com by Friday, September 1. The following information will be submitted to the Maryland State Highway Administration:

  • Your Name
  • County Farm Bureau
  • Address of Exact Location Description for Signage
  • The issue in that particular
  • Your phone number
