Business Development Announces FY18 Mathias Ag Program

HAGERSTOWN, Md. (October 6, 2017) – The Washington County Office of Agricultural Business Development is pleased to share that the Maryland Energy Administration announced the launch of the FY2018 Kathleen A. P. Mathias Agriculture Energy Efficiency Program.  Read the attached press release for more details:

Announcing the FY18 Mathias Ag Program

The Maryland Energy Administration (MEA) is pleased to announce the launch of the FY2018 Kathleen A. P. Mathias Agriculture Energy Efficiency Program to support cost effective energy efficiency measures in the agriculture sector.

MEA will provide grants on a competitive basis to farms/businesses in the agricultural sector. Eligible projects include cost effective energy efficiency measures.  For the further information, the program application and other documentation, please visit the 2018 Mathias Ag Program webpage.

Applications are due Friday, September 29, 2017. Applicants will be notified once the review process has been completed. Successful candidates must complete their approved projects by April 1, 2018.
