Saddle Up for St. Jude Horse Trail Ride and Silent Auction

The public is invited to watch and attend this free event!

Hagerstown, Md. (October 6, 2017) – Join the Washington County Office of Agricultural Business Development and the Washington County Horse Council as the Agricultural Education Center becomes a magical world of riding obstacles for the Saddle Up for St. Jude Horse Trail Ride, October 21, 2017.

Registration will begin at 9 a.m. with the trail open to judging 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

With the theme of “Let’s Go to the Zoo,” spectators and riders alike will spot any number of extraordinary creatures as they complete themed obstacles.  This trail ride provides skill opportunities and proficiency challenges for both horse and rider.

All skill levels are encouraged to ride and all proceeds will be donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  All riders are encouraged to secure sponsors beyond the entry fee to increase donations to this worthy charity.

A silent auction will be held during the trail riding event and winners will be announced at the 2:30 p.m. awards ceremony. Food and drink will be available throughout the day at the horse ring concession stand. For more information about the event, visit: www.wchorsecouncil.org.
